i have decided to re-visit a project from a while back. the mug shot. the original series was color, cross processed, and full of camp. it has been something i have been wanting to do for sometime now. i have always loved the mug shot. any document photo for that matter. i like how simple the process is and how much they can really say about a person. so simple, so perfect. here are some highlights from the original series taken in 2003.

the following images are from the new series. they were taken sunday and the project has already changed in terms of the look and i can only  wait to see how it all ends up. i am excited to have some solid ideas and can’t wait to run with them. 

 

 

i have also been working on another project  and i would imagine at some point the two will work their way into one. keeping with the theme of the document photo i have also been working on some identification cards.
